The parade

We join hundreds of Rapa nui people and tourists at the parade and get marked for our costumes:
We both get 10 points- maximum!!!!

At the moment we aresitting at the beach and are having a drink. So- sorry no text, just fotos! Too busy chilling out.

Another part of the competition is the making and showing of floats- like the Karneval-Wagen n Germany. They show the history and tradition of Rapa Nui.

 We liked the tractors and the float showing the banana tree trunk race.
