Uno fuerto applauso

During the day we drive in our rental car around the island (every road leads sooner or later to the pacific) to check out some moai or go to the only sandy beach or watch the competitions of the Tapati festival- wood carving, necklace making, hat making, swimming.

In the evening we go to the outdoor stage to watch the dance or singing competitions.

After each performance everybody applauds enthousiastically and not only because the presenters tell us: UNO FUERTO APLAUSO, POR FAVOR!

We sit next to the jury who give points to the two competing teams.
