Well, we made it! Frankfurt well in time for the flight and yes, Angela did find her passport after a 3-minute-panic. A final goodbye to David who drove with us to the airport. With a little bit of turbulance on the way, we arrived in Singapore. Angela passed the time with four (4) films and I was just worn out from the preparations that I slept most of the time.
The humidity hit us as we exited the airport and we took the shuttle bus to the hotel in "Down Town" Singapore.  After a quick shower and Terry's panic (Oh shit! I lost 1000€!Oh no, I found them!), we walked into a local market. By this time it  was about 21:00 local time. We found a food street with very spicy smelling delicacies. After a chinese döner, we chose a vegetable soup to share. "Not too spicy and with two spoons please". We almost burnt our tongues with the first mouthful. My attempt at using chop-sticks to fish out thin strips of vegetable and bamboo sprouts must have been very amusing to our fellow diners. As to the spicyness, less said the better. Now time for bed. Hope we can adjust to the time zones, so goodnight all, until the next time.  Angela and Terry.
